The byproducts of progress claim a sculptural dignity for themselves. Constant tension and perpetual crisis characterize the inbetweennes of waste. Metastability is then the new baseline, generated by 'the incompatibility of the system with itself from what one could call the oversaturation of the system'. By making uncertainty the norm, a system remains under tension and is capable of modifying itself.
